Watermarks and rings cannot be removed from countertops. Burnt-on grease on the stove or oven may require multiple sessions to reduce significantly. Mineral buildup on faucets is flagged before proceeding.
Hard water marks, calcium buildup, and mineral deposits on fixtures, shower glass, tubs, and shower walls may require multiple cleaning attempts. Stained grout and deteriorated caulk are visible after cleaning — replacing caulk or grout is a contractor task, not a cleaning one. We will flag these.

The city's older building stock — Victorian flats, Edwardian units, converted apartments — accumulates dust and grime in places a recurring clean doesn't address.

We recommend it, unless your apartment has been professionally cleaned recently. A deep clean resets your home to our standard, so recurring visits can maintain that level. Many SF clients start with a deep clean then move to biweekly or monthly service.
Pre-move prep, seasonal resets (spring or before the holidays), before starting recurring service, and pre-listing for short-term rentals. Tenant turnovers in San Francisco also often include a deep clean before the next occupant moves in.
Not by default — inside oven is an optional add-on. Ceiling fans and inside refrigerator are bundled into the deep-clean base price. Other detail items (blinds, mirrors, pet-hair treatment, inside freezer) can be selected in the quote flow.
