One-time

Post-Construction Clean

From construction site to move-in ready

After a remodel or new build, your home needs more than a standard clean. Construction dust settles everywhere — in vents, on trim, inside cabinets. We remove it methodically using HEPA vacuums and surface-safe products, so the space is ready for occupancy.

Pricing Context

  • Starting around $250 for 1 bed / 1 bath / up to 500 sqft.
  • 2 bed / 1 bath usually starts around $275 before square-footage adjustments.
  • 3 bed / 2 bath usually starts around $350 before heavy-dust or debris complexity.
  • Send photos of the site so we can quote safely around finishes, residue, and actual post-construction condition.

Included And Excluded

Included by default: deep-clean baseline scope plus cabinet interiors, HEPA dust removal on walls, trim, vents, fixtures, and exposed surfaces after renovation.

Not included by default: duct cleaning, risky contractor-only residue removal, and exterior window work unless separately quoted.

We flag bonded paint, grout haze, or finish-sensitive residue instead of guessing and damaging new surfaces.

Dispatch And Coverage

Amiga dispatches from South San Francisco, CA 94080 and serves remodel and new-build handoff projects across the San Francisco Bay Area.

These projects are scheduled after contractors and movers clear the site so we can clean surfaces safely and thoroughly.

Share photos before booking so we can confirm fit, timeline, and final quote.

Before we arrive

The space must be completely clear — cabinets emptied, appliances accessible, all contractors and movers out. If the home isn't ready on arrival, we may need to reschedule or add time to the quote.

Surface Care & Limitations

We're transparent about what cleaning can and can't do. Here's what to expect:

  • Paint drips and splatters are gently reduced only when removal is safe and won't scratch or dull new finishes. Cured paint, grout haze, and permanent adhesive residue will be flagged before we proceed. If a safe method cannot resolve the issue, we recommend consulting your contractor.

  • Adhesive, tape, and sticker residue on tile or fixtures will be reduced when safe, non-damaging products can be used. If stronger solvents are needed, we recommend consulting your contractor first. Any permanently bonded residue will be marked and noted.

  • We do not move furniture over 10 lbs. Patios and balconies are not included unless added as an add-on. Drywall dust and fine debris are captured using sealed HEPA-filter vacuums. Surfaces are cleaned with mild dish soap, glass cleaner, and pH-neutral floor cleaners to protect newly installed finishes.

What's NOT Included

  • Inside oven unless selected as an add-on
  • Interior and exterior window cleaning (available as add-on)
  • Moving furniture over 10 lbs
  • Patios and balconies (available as add-on)
  • Painting, repairs, or contractor work

How It Works

1

Send Photos, Get Quote

Text us photos of the space — kitchen, bathrooms, worst-dusty areas. We quote based on actual scope. Construction cleans vary widely; photos prevent surprises.

2

Team Arrives with HEPA Equipment

Construction dust is fine and pervasive. We use sealed HEPA-filter vacuums before mopping so dust doesn't just move around. Surface-safe products protect your new finishes.

3

We Flag What We Can't Fix

Permanently bonded residue, cured paint, or contractor damage will be documented and flagged — not silently skipped. You know exactly what we addressed and what needs contractor attention.

Why It's Different

HEPA Dust Removal

Construction dust is airborne and fine — regular vacuums recirculate it. We use sealed HEPA-filter equipment to actually capture it, then mop surfaces clean.

Surface-Safe Products

New finishes are delicate. We clean with mild dish soap, glass cleaner, and pH-neutral floor cleaners to protect your new counters, floors, and installations.

Honest About Limits

Permanently cured paint, bonded adhesive, or grout haze that requires a contractor — we flag it before touching it. No guessing, no damage to new surfaces.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's different about post-construction cleaning vs. a deep clean?

Post-construction cleaning addresses what renovation leaves behind: fine drywall dust in vents and on every surface, paint drips, construction adhesive residue, and debris in cabinets and closets. We use HEPA-filter vacuums and surface-safe products designed for newly installed finishes. A standard deep clean doesn't account for these.

Does the home need to be empty?

Yes. The space should be clear of movers, contractors, and furniture before we arrive. If the home isn't ready when we get there, we may need to reschedule or charge for the delay. Clear cabinets, closets, and appliances before our arrival.

Will you remove all paint drips and construction residue?

We remove what's safe to remove. Paint drips and splatters are gently reduced only when we can do so without scratching or dulling new finishes. Cured paint, grout haze, and permanently bonded adhesive will be flagged — we document what needs contractor attention rather than risk damaging your new surfaces.

What about drywall dust in vents and air returns?

We clean exterior vent and return covers. We do not clean inside ductwork — that requires an HVAC specialist. If you're finding heavy dust throughout the home after our visit, have your ducts inspected.

Can I add inside oven, fridge, or windows?

Yes. Interior windows and inside oven can be added for post-construction cleans when you need that heavier interior detail. Cabinet interiors and drawers stay included by default on this empty-property service. Laundry add-ons are still not offered on this service.

How do you price post-construction cleans?

Base pricing starts at $250 for a 1 bed/1 bath. We add per bedroom and per bathroom. Square footage above 500 sqft adds to the price. Heavy construction conditions (significant buildup, full renovation) increase the estimate. Send photos and we'll quote accurately.

Ready for move-in?

Send us photos of the space and we'll quote a price. We'll confirm scope and arrival window before you commit.
