Handing over a Portola Valley home — often after decades in it — or arriving at one and wanting a true clean start: Amiga runs the same inspection-ready checklist either way. Inside cabinets, window tracks, closet floors, baseboards. In a long-held single-story home beside the preserves, that hidden scope holds years of settled dust, and it's exactly what a final walkthrough checks. Private-road directions and access are confirmed at booking.
Price is calculated from your home size, number of bathrooms, scenario, and the add-ons you choose. Move-out usually prices a bit higher than move-in because the default scope is heavier. Use the quote tool for an exact number.
Walkthrough photos or video required before final booking confirmation.

Optional add-onWe're honest about what cleaning can and can't do:
Watermarks and rings cannot be removed from countertops. Cabinet odors that have become ingrained may require multiple cleaning sessions. Our team will identify burnt grease, grout stains, and mineral buildup and let you know what additional treatment can address.
Hard water marks and calcium buildup on fixtures, shower doors, and tub surfaces may require multiple sessions to significantly reduce. Discoloration or finish deterioration on tubs and shower floors will still appear stained after cleaning — this reflects surface damage, not a missed step. We will flag stained grout and any caulk with underlying mold, and recommend replacement.
We do not move furniture over 10 lbs or appliances. We do not pack personal belongings or move valuables or electronic equipment. Homes with excessive clutter or hoarding conditions require a separate quote.
Portola Valley doesn't turn over often — households here stay for decades, and when a ranch home finally changes hands it's usually a family selling after a generation, an estate transition, or an equestrian property finding its next owner. That long tenure is exactly what makes the turnover scope heavy: window tracks, closet floors, and cabinet interiors that were never part of the weekly routine have quietly collected years of preserve dust and pollen.
Inside cabinets and ceiling fans are bundled by default for move-out because those are the details a final walkthrough checks. Add inside oven or interior windows in the quote flow if your sale or lease requires them — in a single-story home, every window is at eye level during the walkthrough, which is why interior windows are a popular pick here.
For move-in cleans, you're setting a baseline before your belongings arrive — and in a house that last had a full reset years ago, that baseline matters. Inside cabinets are an optional add-on for move-in; select them in the quote flow if the home needs it.
Portola Valley access note
You don't need to be present — most move cleans happen while the home is empty. Provide a key or lockbox code, plus plain-language directions down the private road: which fork, which shared driveway, where to park. Homes off the Alpine Road and Portola Road corridor are often numbered out of order, and a wrong turn on a private lane costs real time. If a listing agent or estate representative controls access, share that contact and we'll coordinate entry directly.
Move cleans are pass/fail — the walkthrough either clears or it doesn't. We run the same inspection-ready checklist every time, so the cabinets, window tracks, and baseboards that a Portola Valley walkthrough actually checks get done, whether it's a ranch home held for thirty years or a property with a barn and paddock behind it. That consistency is what protects a deposit or clears a sale.
Pricing is upfront. You pick move-in or move-out, add what your sale or lease requires, and see the number before booking — no surprise line items after the work is done. When something falls outside the standard move scope, we tell you before we start.
Amiga is owner-operated, and we handle Portola Valley's turnover logistics directly and discreetly: lockbox and key handoffs, the right fork on a private road, parking that doesn't block a shared lane, and coordinating with a listing agent or estate representative when they hold access. You don't have to be there — we text on arrival and completion, with before/after photos on request.
The checklist family and quote flow are the same — window tracks, baseboards, closet floors, and more. For move-out, inside cabinets are bundled by default (owners and agents check them); for move-in, they're an optional add-on since you may not need them. Move-out usually prices a bit higher because the default scope is heavier.
Price depends on your home size and which add-ons you choose. Use the quote tool for an exact number. Inside cabinets, ceiling fans, and inside refrigerator are bundled by default for move-out. Optional add-ons include inside oven, interior windows, inside freezer, and more — interior windows earn their keep here, since a single-story home puts every pane at eye level for the walkthrough.
Deep-clean baseline scope (baseboards, window sills, light fixtures, cabinet fronts, inside microwave, ceiling fans, inside refrigerator) plus inside all cabinets and drawers, window tracks and frames, closet floors, detailed baseboard scrubbing, and light switch plates. In a home held for decades next to open space, the tracks, closets, and cabinet corners carry years of settled dust — exactly the scope a turnover needs.
No — most move cleans happen while you're elsewhere. Provide a key or lockbox code at booking, plus plain-language directions down the private road: which fork, which driveway, where to park. We text when we arrive and when we finish. Before/after photos are available on request with consent — useful if there's a deposit or condition question.
Much of Portola Valley sits on private roads and shared lanes off the Alpine Road and Portola Road corridor that map apps handle badly — unmarked forks, shared driveways, homes numbered out of order. Give us the landmarks and parking details at booking. If a listing agent or estate representative controls access during the sale, share that contact and we'll coordinate entry directly and discreetly.
Moving out or moving in — we'll confirm scope, add-ons, and price before you commit.
